In a nutshell, what is your company about?
Bridgeline is about helping customers leverage best in class web-based technologies to achieve or exceed their business objectives.  We excel in delivering interactive technology solutions to our customers, in developing Web Engagement Management products, and in attracting and retaining employees of the highest quality. We are a very customer centric organization and embrace extremely high standards. 

At our core, Bridgeline is a developer of unified web engagement management software and interactive business technology solutions. The iAPPS Product Suite is an innovative solution that deeply unifies web Content Management, eCommerce, eMarketing, and web Analytics capabilities into the heart of websites, intranets, extranets or portals - enabling users to swiftly enhance and optimize the value of their web properties.

Combined with award winning interactive technology services, we help our customers cost-effectively maximize the value and the impact of their rapidly changing web properties. 

How was your company founded and what inspired its creation?
Bridgeline was founded in 2000 in recognition of the significant impact that interactive technology can have on businesses and markets, a prediction that has certainly played out.

What makes your company different than other companies in your marketspace?
Our end-to-end approach significantly differentiates Bridgeline from competitors we see in the marketplace. We're able to combine award-winning interactive technology services with our iAPPS Product Suite, providing customers with powerful websites, intranets, extranets, and portals that drive very meaningful results.

On a pure product perspective, total platform integration makes iAPPS a true Web Engagement Management solution. No other competitor has achieved the level, depth, and completeness of integration that we have with the iAPPS Product Suite.

What has been your company's greatest accomplishment over the past year?
Despite one of the worst recessions since the great depression, Bridgeline finished 2009 with record sales and profits.  In addition, over the past year Bridgeline has won several prestigious awards including a MITX Interactive Award and the 2010 CODiE Award for The Best Content Management Solution globally. 

What is the biggest challenge you face in the marketplace today?
The prolonged manic economy has created a level of uncertainty for many organizations that has led to stalled web-related investments, regardless of the business pain and potential return on investment.

Why are you a MITX member?
We believe we receive a lot of value from our involvement with MITX - whether as a speaker or attendee at one of their many events, or as an entrant in the annual MITX Awards.  We find MITX events to be educational and a great way to network with other industry peers. As a company with both a New England and national focus, we're amazed that there aren't more organizations like MITX in other large metropolitan markets.
